Hunter Hayes Is Serious About Music Education
Hunter Hayes is a big believer in music education and he’s proving it in a big way.
With the help of Samsung, the “Wanted” singer just gifted $100,000 to the CMA’s charity arm to renovate a music room at Nashville School of the Arts, which boasts more than 600 local students from varying backgrounds. “I’ve always loved what music and charity organizations can do together, and I believe every child should have a place in school that allows them to discover more about their passions and be creative,” Hunter says through his publicist.

The month-long renovation is underway and will culminate with a state-of-the-art guitar lab and recording studio. Hunter then plans to implement a masterclass series that will invite various music industry colleagues and friends to mentor students in the school’s music program.
Music was a big part of Hunter’s early education, of course, so the fit comes naturally. Stay up to date on his touring schedule here.
