Brittany Aldean Is Busy With A Career Of Her Own
Some might think that being the wife of a big-time country star means plenty of free time and fun. That might be true for some, but not for Jason Aldean‘s wife Brittany.
The former NBA cheerleader and American Idol contestant is quickly making a name for herself as a makeup artist and lifestyle blogger, according to Opry Entertainment’s new YouTube series Better Half, which spotlights the spouses of country superstars who are busy building their own careers.
“Trying to do your own thing separate from your husband is difficult and a lot of people struggle with that,” Brittany admits in the episode. “I wanted to be with Jason on the road but still wanted my independence.”

Brittany sits down with the wives of other country stars from time to time to keep things in perspective. “We do a monthly kind of country wives night, if you will,” Brittany shares. “We just go each others’ house and just drink some wine and vent and talk and laugh and have fun and each a bunch of good food and hang out.”
