Netflix House Venue Opening in King of Prussia 1 of Only 2 in the Country
There are so many hugely popular shows and films on Netflix. From Stranger Things to Bridgerton, most of us have binged at least one Netflix show in the past, likely even in just the past week. Next year we’re going to be able to visit and experience our favorite Netflix shows in person… at Netflix House, opening at the King of Prussia Mall.
Why King of Prussia?
Netflix is opening two “Netflix Houses” in the U.S, both set to open next year. One in Dallas, Texas at Galleria Dallas, and one right here in King of Prussia. The locations were chosen because they are “part of two of the most popular shopping centers in America, boasting hundreds of retailers, high foot traffic, and proximity to major cities.” They will both set up in former department store locations spanning over 100,000 square feet.
What kind of experiences at Netflix House?
Netflix said, “Imagine waltzing with your partner to an orchestral cover of a Taylor Swift song on a replica of the ‘Bridgerton’ set –– and then walking around the corner to compete in the Glass Bridge challenge from ‘Squid Game.” Sounds like a little bit of everything.
There’s Food Too!
Marian Lee, Netflix’s Chief Marketing Officer says you’ll be able to “get a taste — literally — of your favorite Netflix series and films through unique food and drink offerings. Maybe Netflix House will serve Eggo waffles, or feature a Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream Parlor a la Stranger Things? With the number of Netflix shows out there, the possibilities are endless.
By next year we’ll have a great reason to put the binge watching on pause for a while and head over to King of Prussia. We’ll be able to step into our favorite shows in person and enjoy experiences like photo ops, restaurants, shopping and merchandise tied to all of our favorite Netflix stars and shows. With all of the possible merch options, it should be a great spot to pick up a gift for someone too.
Keep an eye on NetflixHouse.com for updates on the new venue and to see some of the current Netflix experiences and popups available. Plenty to watch on Netflix in the meantime.
Now if we can just convince Netflix House to (please) host a Bridgerton-style ball. They always look so fun, and this seems like the perfect venue for it. I’ll start working on my dress (hat, gloves ect…) just in case.
