Watch Midsommar on the Summer Solstice in a Cemetery June 21st
Laurel Hill Cemetery and West Laurel Hill Cemetery are big gorgeous spaces in Philly and they’re meant to be enjoyed by the living too. They hold 5K runs through their expansive green space, nature walks, a monthly book club, annual classic hearse show, and movies too!
While Midsommer is traditionally celebrated in Europe on June 24th, astrologically speaking, the summer solstice is June 21st. This summer the stars align to have June 21st fall on a Friday. A perfect time to hold a summer solstice party, or cemetery movie viewing. There’s no better movie to watch in a cemetery on June 21st than Midsommar, and that’s exactly what Laurel Hill Cemetery is screening.
