A Cheesesteak Bialy from Kismet Bagels and Pat’s King of Steaks
The cheesesteak bialy. Of course! It’s Philadelphia. How have I not had one of these yet?
Well, it may not have existed. Til’ now.
Kismet Bagels is the only bagel joint in Philly that specializes in bialys. Pat’s King of Steaks specializes in… well, you know… steaks. And now, these two super popular Philly food attractions have found one another. Kismet Bagels and Pat’s King of Steaks, both doing what they do best, together for a day.
Kismet Bagels has only been here since 2020 and Pat’s King of Steaks since 1930. Your grand dad probably grabbed a cheesesteak at Pat’s while in his prime. Your hip niece or nephew probably waits in line for Kismet bagels in Fishtown any given Saturday morning. Combining old and new, and two great foods – a kismet meeting and a collaboration fit for a king. (See what I did there?)
A Kismet Bagels sesame bialy, Kismet Bagels caramelized onions, Cooper sharp American cheese, grilled ribeye from Pat’s Steaks, and hot pepper relish (optional).
The only problem? So far this match made in foodie heaven looks to be around for one day only. Get your cheesesteak bialy fix on Tuesday, September 13th beginning at 10am. They’ll sell em’ till they’re sold out. I’d go early.
