Musician Zach Bryan Promises New Song Release If Eagles Win NFC Championship
Zach Bryan could release his next hit earlier than expected. The singer-songwriter hinted at dropping “Blue Jean Baby” on Sunday, Jan. 26, 2025, but there’s a catch: The Philadelphia Eagles need to beat the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship.
On Instagram, Bryan got fans excited with his announcement: “IF THE BIRDS WIN THE NFC BLUE JEAN BABY IS OUT SUNDAY NIGHT…WRITTEN AND RECORDED IN PHILLY.” Bryan’s new song explores stories of late nights and lasting friendships.
His album “The Great American Bar Scene,” which released in 2024, captured the attentions of his fans with its tracklist that includes “Pink Skies,” “Sandpaper,” “Bass Boat,” and “Better Days.”
Outside of music, Bryan is putting his film skills to the test with “Motorbreath.” Narrated by Matthew McConaughey, the film tells the story of a group of best friends who take a two-week motorcycle ride across America while recording one final major label album.
Rolling Stone reported, “On Instagram on Wednesday, [Jan. 15,] Bryan dropped a voice memo — seemingly dictated by Matthew McConaughey, Bryan’s costar in the “Nine Ball” video — announcing ‘Motorbreath,’ which shares its title with a still-unreleased song that the country star first shared on social media back in November [2024].”Meanwhile, the Eagles are soaring from their Sunday, Jan. 19, 28-22 victory over the Los Angeles Rams in the NFL Divisional Round. The Eagles remain favorites over the Commanders in this Sunday’s matchup.
