Temple Police Officer Chris Fitzgerald was a husband and a father of four, killed in the line of duty on Saturday night. A GoFundMe has been set up for his family, and so far over $440,000 has been raised. Here is the link to the fundraiser if you are able to contribute. There will be an in person fundraising event tomorrow night in honor of Officer Chris Fitzgerald. Thursday, February 23rd beginning at 4pm. The event will be held in the 7C Lounge at the FOP Lodge 5. There will be a buffet and draft beer, and donations will be accepted at the door. Memorial t-shirts are also available. All proceeds will support Officer Fitzgerald’s family.

There will be a second viewing held at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul on Friday morning prior to the services from 8am-11:30am.
