Despite my lactose- intolerance, our culinary adventure began with the cheese board. I suffer for the art of a good cheese board and Attico Rooftop did not disappoint. The assortment of fine cheeses, accompanied by fresh fruits, nuts, and artisanal bread, was a great start to our meal.
For drinks, I opted for endless champagne while my husband fancied an Old Fashioned cocktail. The champagne was crisp and refreshing, a perfect complement to the cheese board. The Old Fashioned was crafted with George Dickel whiskey, demerara, angostura, and orange bitters. The blend was smooth, with just the right hint of citrus. Even a self proclaimed whiskey hater, such as myself, enjoyed a taste.
Next, we couldn’t resist ordering the truffle fries, and they were everything we hoped for and more. Perfectly crisp and golden, these fries were generously coated with truffle oil and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs.
