The Art Star CRAP Bazaar is an annual fundraising event, and basically, it’s no frills. A craft bazaar filled with craft misfits. Stuff that either didn’t make the cut, was left over, or isn’t perfect. Crafters will be putting their ‘crap’ goods up for sale at huge discounts. Don’t expect anything fancy as far as display either. No frills! Rummage through piles of stuff, and save some money WHILE helping to support a great organization too.

Each year 25% of the total sales from the event are donated to two non-profits. This year’s beneficiaries are Homies Helping Homies and No More Secrets. The donation will be evenly split between the two organizations. The organizers are also encouraging customers to drop off donations of Boxes of Menstrual Pads and Tampon for No More Secrets, along with the monetary donation.

“The crap bazaar aims to support artists by helping them make some income off of time spent learning and playing – an important part of the artistic process. Many of the items included in the “crap” bazaar are just that – pieces that were made as practice before the piece is perfected and placed on shop shelves and sold at craft shows.
