The best fireworks take place in the most unsuspecting of places. Delaware fireworks are sure to make your July 4th holiday spectacular! Summer nights are made so much better with a stunning show in the sky above.

No matter where you plan to celebrate, plenty of July 4th fireworks celebrations are happening all across Delaware. It’s a great tradition that’s perfect to cap off your Independence Day. Barbecues, cold drinks, and fireworks are the best ways to spend the day. These brightly colored mini-explosions in the sky are mesmerizing to look at for all ages.

Don’t miss out on a quintessential summer experience. There are so many places in The First State that set off fireworks for the 4th of July. Most fireworks shows are entirely free events and can be watched from anywhere. It’s a fun activity for the whole family that makes for some good photos and even better memories. You and your kids will have fun at any one of these patriotic events.

    Head for Tubman-Garrett Riverfront Park on July 4, 2023, for festivities that run from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., including pony rides, games, face painting, tours of the Kalmar Nyckel tall ship, a petting zoo, live music, and mini train rides. The fireworks show gets underway at 9:15 p.m.

    On July 4, 2023, folks can gather around Tubby Raymond Field at 631 S. College Ave. beginning at around 6 p.m. to catch the big fireworks display over the University of Delaware Athletic Complex. Vendors and entertainment will accompany the fun.

    Celebrations Take Place For Guy Fawkes Night

    Line up for the “Best 4th of July Parade in Delaware” along Lancaster Pike at 3 p.m. on July 4, 2023, then head for a prime viewing spot for the dusk fireworks (including Swift Park, Piedmont Baseball Fields, Hockessin Library and Artesian Soccer Fields).

  • Rehoboth Beach Fireworks

    Celebrations Take Place For Guy Fawkes Night

    Festivities in Rehoboth begin at 8 p.m. on July 4, 2023. Fireworks are scheduled to start by 9:30 p.m., but may begin before or after depending on sunset time and weather conditions. Fireworks will launch from south of Rehoboth Avenue and will be visible along the beach and boardwalk.
