5 Things to Do This Weekend in Philly (3/28-3/30)!
Intern Olivia here! After a cold long winter, the weather will finally be warm this weekend. I don’t know about you, but I’d jump at any opportunity to get out of the house and into Mother Nature. Here’s what’s going on in Philly this weekend, March 28th to March 30th!
Astra Lumina at Abington Art Center
Take a walk through a cosmic light show at Astra Lumina now until Sunday! Located at Abington Art Center, this outdoor event combines music, sound effects, and illumination to create an immersive experience for all who attend. Tickets are needed for this event and food and drinks are available in a pay-as-you-go style.
PEEPS in the Village at Peddler’s Village
I’m not a huge fan of this Easter candy but I think this exhibit makes me want to give the candy another try. Peddler’s Village is hosting a PEEPS in the Village exhibit now until April 27th. This event takes the marshmallow Peep candies and puts them to life through cute displays, dioramas, sculptures and more! This event is perfect for all ages and best of all…it’s free.
& Juliet at Academy of Music
Do you ever wonder what would have happened to Juliet from Romeo and Juliet if she didn’t sacrifice herself for him? Well, you can explore Juliet’s journey when you see & Juliet from now until April 6th at the Academy of Music! Philly Cocktail Fest
You can sip on cocktails all day long tomorrow at Philly Cocktail Fest at the 23rd Street Armory. Philly Cocktail Fest features cocktails mixed and mastered by some of Philly’s best. Please remember to enjoy responsibly and don’t drink and drive!
