Presented by Ensemble Arts Philly and The Shubert Organization, this musical is twist on the classic tale of Romeo and Juliet, where Juliet begins to wonder what life would be like if she didn’t end it all over Romeo. The musical will be here in Philly from March 25th through April 6th at the Academy of Music.

Noting that the original Romeo & Juliet didn't end well for anyone, Kristen asked Kathryn Allison if we could assume this show would have a happier ending.

"Yes. It's a happy ending. I think it's also, you know, what's so appealing about it is that you're seeing a woman trying to find her confidence and her way and finding what makes her special and what's going to guide her through the rest of her life, which I think is just really exciting. And then on top of that, you have fabulous music by Max Martin, who a lot of people don't know, but has written kind of the most number one hits on the Billboard top charts. So you have, since you've been gone, you have. music by Ariana Grande and Kelly Clarkson and Katy Perry and Britney Spears and so there's really something for everyone to enjoy."

Kathryn Allison will also have quite the cheering section for her, as some of her family lives in Philadelphia.
