Philly Burger Brawl POSTPONED!
Philly Burger Brawl has been POSTPONED! Bummer. At the same time… the Phillies are in the Playoffs. Of all the reasons to postpone, this one ain’t bad.
The annual burger event with 60+ restaurants participating has been moved because of the potential Game 5 in the Phillies Playoff Series with the Padres this week. Not a bad problem to have.
The Sunday, October 23rd event is now happening on Sunday, November 6th. 12pm-3pm.
If you won tickets from 95.7 BEN FM on the air, or purchased tickets on the website, hang onto them!
Here’s the Phillies / Padres game schedule:
- Tonight’s (10/18) Game 1 starts at 8:03pm ET in San Diego.
- Tomorrow’s Game 2 (10/19) is at 4:35pm ET.
The Padres were the higher seed, so they get games 1 and 2 in San Diego. They’re off on Thursday, 10/20.
- First home game is Game 3 at CBP- this Friday (10/21) at 7:37pm ET.
- Game 4 at home at CBP on Saturday (10/22) at 7:45pm ET.
- Game 5 (if necessary) on Sunday at 2:37pm SMACK DAB in the middle of what WOULD have been Burger Brawl.
So because of that risk of a game 5 – Burger Brawl has been postponed. We’ll be together for burgers soon.
Mark your calendars for the new date: Sunday, November 6th. 12pm-3pm. Who knows? Maybe we can eat celebratory burgers in a few weeks, celebrating a Phillies World Series Win.
