Ketchup Ice Pops Have Arrived. But Why?

French’s, the people I typically associate with mustard, have shaken things up and decided the flavor of the summer for cool treats is going to be.....wait for it....ketchup!  They partnered with a Canadian company who has a talent to turning all things into popsicles to create what the press release calls the “Frenchsicle,” a ketchup-flavored popsicle.   The bigger question is WHY?!  Who asked for this?  Who was sitting around thinking, "You know what I could go for?  A ketchup ice pop!"  No. One. Asked.

Apparently, you can only get “Frenchsicles” in Canada – but there’s a recipe online.
