If You Know CPR You Need This App
We had CPR Training at the station today. Some of us officially learned how to administer CPR and it’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly. While we were being trained they introduced us to the PulsePoint app. This app will send an alert when someone is in cardiac arrest nearby so you can jump in to help. It also can tell you where the nearest defibrillator is located. That’s important info because timing is everything when a person goes into cardiac arrest.
PulsePoint is connected to the 911 system and will immediately send notifications and ask for help when CPR is needed nearby. It’s not available everywhere yet, but if you live in Montgomery County and know CPR you should download the free app!
