NYC Made Rules About Dogs on the Subway, New Yorkers Got Creative
Recently, New York City officials made stricter rules about bringing dogs onto the subway. Leashed service and emotional support dogs are allowed to ride the public transportation system with no restrictions, but other than that, all dogs are now required to be in carriers.
If you think that’s going to stop New Yorkers from bringing their four-legged friends along with them, think again.
These people are a creative brunch, and they got innovative when it came to the definition of “carrier.”

Hey, technically all of these pooches DO fit in bags, right? They’re just not the traditional carriers that the people who wrote these rules probably had in mind. It looks like if New York officials want to make these policies stick, they’re going to have to get a *tad* more specific!
