Atco Dragway has permanently closed after hosting New Jersey racing for 63 years. Don’t fret, though, racing fans! Here are some other area dragways you can visit.

Car enthusiasts and families alike can have fun watching racing at a dragway. There’s nothing like the sound of those engines revving. The cars speeding by you as you cheer them on from the stands. If you race yourself, these dragways are super important for you to be able to hone your craft.

You can make it a day for the whole family at places like these. If you have a free weekend, why not spend it watching races and having fun? Area dragways host weekly races during the racing season that you can go to.

For all intents and purposes, these dragways we’ve listed aren’t exactly “down the road,” but they’re still great to go to. They’re close enough in the area that you can make a day of things with your family. It’s good to know that racing and motorsports are still very much thriving in this very part of the US.

Start your engines! Pack up your car and go watch some races! Here are some dragways a short drive away from Pennsylvania you can visit.
