Check out the Philadelphia Flyers new uniforms for 2023-24 season.
The new uniforms unveiled today will be the Philadelphia Flyers’ new home and road uniforms. It’s the first change to the team’s primary home and away uniforms in 13 years, since 2010. They’re saying these new duds “pay homage to the club’s history while ushering in a New Era of Orange”. Sounds good to me.
The jersey most notably features the “burnt orange” that defined the great teams of the 80s and 90s. That iconic shade serves as the base of the home jerseys and is prominently displayed on the arm, shoulder panels and large player numbers for the team’s away jerseys. Burnt orange is also featured on both sets of socks to round out the look.
“These burnt orange sweaters are one of the most iconic symbols of Flyers hockey,” said Keith Jones, Flyers President of Hockey Operations and Alternate Governor. “There’s no doubt that this look is known throughout the NHL and uniquely beloved by our fans because it brings to life one of the most important parts of our rebuild – it honors our past while we continue to forge a new path forward.”
There’s a new (first-ever) Official Home Jersey Patch Partner too, through Independence Blue Cross. This multi-year deal adds yet another long Blue Cross Philadelphia partnership, with the company already a longtime sponsor of the Blue Cross River Rink and Independence Blue Cross Broad Street Run, and who knows what else?
So when will fans be able to see them in person?
The team will debut the new look at the start of the 2023-2024 season. On-sale details will be announced soon.
