The Philadelphia Chinese Lantern Festival in Franklin Square opens today and stays through June 12th. The Festival appears here in the states for the first time and is a don’t-miss celebration of light and culture that features artisans from China. For 7-weeks Franklin Square will glow with more than 25-larger-than-life illuminated displays of giant flowers, a 3-story pagoda, a huge Chinese dragon and much more.
