Celebrate Day of the Dead in FDR Park
Día de los Muertos falls on a Friday this year, and FDR Park in Philly is the place to celebrate. Fairmount Park Conservancy and artist Cesar Viveros have a Gran Fiesta de los Muertos: Day of the Dead Celebration planned. This cultural celebration honors the lives of deceased loved ones and offers an opportunity to experience the rich traditions of Mexican heritage. Enjoy captivating dance and musical performances, admire a large-scale art installation by Mexican-American artist Cesar Viveros, try food samples from local vendors, and explore the Mercado de Latinas for handcrafted items and unique gifts.
