The mega-show, Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour in Philadelphia, is here. The singer is kicking off her U.S. tour dates in Philly tonight, July 12.
The “Alien Superstar” will be taking the stage at Lincoln Financial Field for one night and one night only. This is her first stop in the U.S. on her revered Renaissance World Tour. For the past two months, the “Crazy In Love” singer has had dates across Europe and Canada. Now, it’s our turn. She’s looking to make it a “Summer Renaissance” for all of us here in The City of Brotherly Love.
Beyoncé’s new album Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022. Now a year later, she’s here performing it. Renaissance explores new genres for the eponymous singer. Her first solo release since Lemonade in 2016 takes us to the clubs. It’s a dance-y, house-inspired album that must be stellar to hear in person.
If you managed to snag tickets to this show, good for you! You’re going to have a great time full of “Energy” and the music will make you “Move.” If not, there are still some things you’ll need to know. After all, this is a huge event that will draw a large crowd. And as we mentioned before, it’s one night only!

Beware Parking Prices
If you’re going, know you may be price-gouged with parking. Lots in the stadium area have been charging a lot for big-ticket events like this. So be prepared for a hefty fee (or to park further away and walk) when you get there. General stadium parking is $35 for cars and $70 for oversized vehicles. That fills up fast, so don’t count on those prices exactly.
This Will Be A Popular Event
There will be loads of foot traffic and regular traffic in the areas around The Linc tonight. If you aren’t going and want to avoid a headache, try to steer clear of the area. If you are going, plan accordingly for traffic.
Bag Policy
The concert is also going to be a fashion show of sorts. Expect a lot of glittery cowboy hats and rhinestoned sunglasses. We know you’ll want a cute bag to accompany your fit, but know The Linc has a strict bag policy. You have a couple options, which can be found here on the stadium website.
You have a few options. One is a clear stadium bag where the size cannot exceed 12″x 6″ x 12″ or a one-gallon clear plastic freezer bag. Another option is a small clutch bag, approximately the size of a hand but not larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″. This small clutch bag may be carried into the stadium along with one of the clear bag options.
There are tons of cute clear bags out there, but if this is too short of notice for you, just scrap the bag altogether.
The Weather Tonight
I guess this matters whether you’re going or not…No rain is expected. However, it will be hot, with temperatures upwards of 80 degrees. Plan accordingly and hydrate! Due to the heat, Lincoln Financial Field is allowing fans to bring an unopened bottle of water that is 20 ounces or less.
