New Hallmark Philadelphia Movie Is Quite The Adventure
Hallmark Philadelphia Movie Heads Across the Pond
The new Hallmark Philadelphia movie takes us on quite the adventure. Andrew Walker stars in the movie as Johnny, a mechanic from Philly. When Johnny learns his long-lost father is actually a duke, he finds royal life isn’t quite what he expected. And neither are the feelings he’s developing for the duke’s advisor.
It’s quite the treat to see the Philadelphia skyline, all the cheesesteak references, and the vision of what Delco looks like for all the exterior shots. Ha!

Andrew Walker The Hallmark Star
Andrew not only stars in The Reluctant Royal, but he’s in a massive number of Hallmark Movies. In fact, he might be in the most Hallmark movies out of any of the actors or actresses. How many, you ask? Wel,l Andrew Walker has appeared in more than 30 Hallmark movies, including:
- Sweet Autumn
- A Bride for Christmas (2012)
- A Dream of Christmas (2016)
- Love Struck Café (2017)
- Dashing Through the Snow (2017)
- Appetite for Love (2017)
- Date With Love (2017)
- Love on Ice (2017)
- Bridal Wave (2017)
- Love in Design (2018)
- Three Wise Men and a Baby (2022)
- Three Wiser Men and a Boy (2024)
- My Christmas Family Tree (2021)
- Christmas Tree Lane
Now, full disclosure, he’s not my favorite Hallmark actor. Tyler Hynes is my absolute favorite and he’s in one of the best Hallmark movies, It Was Always You. Seriously one of the best. My favorite movie is Love on the Slopes. It’s not a Christmas movie, but a winter one. It’s seriously the best, not too cheesy, and the lead actor, Thomas Beaudoin, is so hot. He hasn’t been in many other Hallmark movies which stinks. Another one of my favorites is Steve Lund, who starred in the Christmas Cottage. Such a good one! He also was a guest star in Schitt’s Creek and that was quite the surprise.
