Def Leppard’s Joe Elliott and Phil Collen took some time during the coronavirus pandemic to appear on a new song from British rock band The Struts called “I Hate How Much I Want You.”

Embedded below, the song features a big sing-song chorus, so it’s definitely up Def Leppard’s alley. “I Hate How Much I Want You” is featured on The Struts’ third studio album, Strange Days, which was recorded over the course of tens days during the heart of the pandemic.

Elliott and Collen are among a diverse list of guests on the album which also includes Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello, The Strokes’ Albert Hammond Jr. and Brit-pop icon Robbie Williams.

“I Hate How Much I Want You” is available for streaming and download here.

Strange Days is due out October 16 and is currently available for pre-order at The album is also available for pre-save on all major digital platforms here.
