WWE management clarified its position on using third-party platforms on Monday before the live RAW television tapings. The company came out last week and had put a stop, supposedly, to talent streaming on multiple different platforms, something that would negatively impact DOZENS of stars like AJ Styles and more who have built budding streaming communities. The WWE eventually clarified that no, the stars are not banned from using Twitch or YouTube Gaming, but they only spoke to these platforms specifically. They were also not allowed to stream using their in-ring names and had to go by their real names if they wanted to continue streaming, the company told talent. The company also told talent that they would need to inform the company about their Twitch and YouTube accounts if they haven’t already.

What we still don’t know is whether or not WWE is planning on cracking down any further on streaming talent, and if any platforms outside of Twitch or YouTube Gaming. I know plenty of people ready to give Vince McMahon a Stone Cold Stunna if he kicks their favorite stars off of streaming.
