Uber is expanding the services its brand provides.

Per the New York Post, the rideshare company is now delivering prescriptions under its Uber Health banner so people can avoid trips to the pharmacy during the pandemic. To do this, they are teaming up with NimbleRX, a startup that works with pharmacies and couriers to bring prescriptions to users’ homes.

In a statement about the new venture, Nimble founder and CEO states,  “Through this partnership with Uber Health, we are able to dramatically increase the availability of on-demand delivery of an essential product like prescriptions, which is leading to a further increase in demand in all markets we are already active in.”

So far, the service is only live in Seattle and Dallas. They plan on expanding it to other cities in the coming months.
