Music News

The Rolling Stones have released a music video for “Scarlet,” one of three previously unreleased tracks from the upcoming reissue Goats Head Soup 2020.

The video centers around a man (played Paul Mescal from Normal People) who records himself drunkenly dancing around a hotel as he lipsyncs to the song as a way to apologize to his girlfriend named Scarlet. Honestly, it’s just good, charming fun!

“Scarlet” is a unique standout of the three previously unheard tracks, because it features Jimmy Page. The song was recorded in October 1974, and until now, it has never had an official release. In addition to Page, “Scarlet” also features Blind Faith’s Rick Grech on bass.

“Scarlet” is available for streaming and download here, while Goats Head Soup 2020 comes out on September 4 and is available for pre-order at TheRollingStonesShop.com.
