When it comes to Halloween candy, people have opinions.
Perhaps no one has taken this as far as the City of High Point in North Carolina, which made a Facebook post announcing that it was banning those weird peanut butter taffy chews, that come in plain orange or black wrappers, from the city.
The City Government’s Facebook post reads: “Alright everybody, we’re giving you a one-week notice as you prepare for trick-or-treaters to remind y’all that by order of the City of High Point Emperor of Acceptable Candy, these are banned. No one likes them, don’t give them out.”
Even if someone lives in the City of High Point, no one is going to arrest them for handing out these candies. But if they go through with it, don’t be surprised if they’re pulling toilet paper out of their trees in the morning.
