If you’ve been looking for an excuse to get together with friends and sip on margaritas, look no further. Tuesday, February 22nd is National Margarita Day and several spots in town are celebrating! From classic to flavored, on the rocks to frozen, from salt rims to sugar, and everything in between, area restaurants will roll out specials and features all day with everything from $5 margaritas, $20 flights, bottomless tacos, food features, take-home kits, and much more.

    Añejo Philly, located in the Northern Liberties Restaurant Row, celebrates National Margarita Day two $22 discounted curated margarita flights, plus their brand-new Bottomless Taco Tuesday Experience. Reservations are now available on Open Table or by calling  267-534-5746.

    From Noon to 10:00pm, open to close, enjoy two $22 discounted margarita flights. One is entirely with tanteo spirits for anejo, reposado, jalapeño, and blanco margs. The other is all fun flavors. We are thinking blue raspberry, peach pomegranate, citrus blend and mixed berry.

    From 5:00pm to 9:00pm, enjoy the new Bottomless Taco Tuesday Experience. Each and every Taco Tuesday, from 5:00pm to 9:00pm, guests are invited to indulge in unlimited signature tacos that include Lamb Barbacoa, Wild Mushroom, Crispy Cauliflower,  Crispy Fish, Crispy Gulf Shrimp, Chicken Al Pastor, Pork Carnitas and a “Taco Exclusivo” feature for the week. For National Margarita Day, the special taco is a Cheesesteak Taco. Each guest at the table must order the bottomless taco experience, and the cost is $25 per person. The experience includes as many tacos as one can eat, plus rice and beans, and Añejo’s authentic house-made chips and salsa. Guests will also have access to a special extended happy hour that runs the entire time, with Blanco Margaritas for $6 or $24 for a pitcher, Anejo Margaritas for $7, Mezcal Margaritas for $7 and Jalapeno Margaritas for $7. Other specials during the weekly event include cocktail, wine, sangria and beer discounts, plus add-on small plates for only $3 to $8.

    Sueño is closed on Tuesdays, but the Saturday before, on Saturda, February 19th, get an early start on celebrating our city’s love of margs with the Margarita Bar Crawl. Local Center City restaurants have come together for a special food and drink crawl. Sueño will be the last stop of the day, with specials from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, with the following specials $5 Dos Equis, $6 Corazon shots and $7 House Margaritas. DJ will kick-off at 10:00pm.

    Philadelphia Margarita Crawl kicks off at Howl at the Moon at 2:00pm. Purchasing a ticket/wristband grants you access to food and drink specials at participating locations that include Sueño, Top Tomato, Strangeloves and Howl at the Moon.
