Gloria models in front of our brand new desk. Notice how it kind of just floats? We checked out multiple design versions from our personal design consultant (Shannon) and we loved the floating look.

Hey!

I’ve been talking about this for months now on the air, so I thought I’d share a few photos of the new house and the custom spaces designed by California Closets. We recently renovated our house, moved back in, and called California Closets for help organizing all of our new closets, spaces and STUFF! It was really easy. Our personal design consultant, Shannon came out to the house,  measured a few different spaces, and then we joined her at the Philadelphia showroom to see all of her great designs and ideas. We liked them so much that we went with THREE of them! Here’s what we had installed.

1.) MASTER BEDROOM CLOSET
This is a game changer. My husband and I ADORE our new closet. It’s not that big of a space, but it FEELS big now. I’ve never had anything like it. There is so much room for everything that we don’t even need dressers in our bedroom anymore. Everything fits with room to spare. Something great too, for someone (me) that gets up at 4am, it’s so roomy that I can go in there, shut the door, turn on the light and get completely ready for work without disturbing my (still sleeping) husband. ALL of our stuff fits in there, so well organized, and I fit too!

2.) BATHROOM LINEN CLOSET
Our brand new bathroom linen closet. It was a tough spot for us, located under our staircase. We weren’t sure how we were going to be able to put shelves in and be able to use the space to its potential. California Closets helped us organize and use every inch of the space with built-in hampers and sliding drawers with dividers for shampoos, sunscreens, hair accessories and lots more. We love it.

3.) BUILT-IN DESK and BOOKCASE with TEXTURED VINTAGE GLASS

We installed these in a sort of office/flex space room we had and didn’t know what to do with. The desk is the perfect size for a perfect work space! Notice that the cable box for the TV is nicely hidden too.

We also had a bunch of boxes with books and file boxes leftover after we moved, and this bookcase helped us organize all of it, plus some nick-knacks too! The vintage textured yellow glass in the bottom might be my favorite thing of all. When we renovated the house, we had this vintage yellow textured glass that we wanted to install into our kitchen cabinets. Our contractor said that it couldn’t be done, so we had it still and decided to ask our ‘personal design consultant’ at California Closets (Shannon, we love her!) and she said YES! They made it happen and installed the glass into the bottom cabinets of the bookcase and we LOVE it. Shannon even drove out to my office to pick up the glass, then drove it to a special glass cutter to be custom installed into the bookcase. The customer service and can-do spirit is top notch!

All of this installed in less than a day. I went to work and came home to find it all finished and everything perfect. Shannon even stopped by afterward to make sure that we were completely happy. She brought a handwritten thank you note and a housewarming gift (the cutest little succulent and our first plant in the new house). As you might have guessed, we are very happy and highly recommend California Closets for your home. Feel free to contact me with any questions. [email protected]. Thanks for checking it out!
