The Wissahickon Valley Watershed Association’s 14th annual Walk for the Wissahickon & Trail Run will be held Sunday, October 3 on the Association’s Green Ribbon Trail in eastern Montgomery County. With a wide variety of events – 2 walks, 2 hikes and 2 runs, all of different lengths – people of all ages and activity levels can participate.
Money raised will help the Watershed Association complete the unfinished portions of the Green Ribbon Trail. For more information: wvwa.org
About the Green Ribbon Trail The Green Ribbon Trail is a patchwork of over 45 separate parcels and conservation easements that run the length of the Wissahickon Creek. It begins in Upper Gwynedd’s Township Park and ends at Erdenheim Farm in Flourtown, then connects with Fairmount Park’s Forbidden Drive.
