He’s lived such a long incredible life, and somehow doesn’t look a day over 40. He dances, he sings, he dresses impeccably and he tells the most incredible stories. Then, we’re not sure that it gets more ‘BEN Around Philly’ than this. Kristen is joined by Alysa Bainbridge, the current MISS PHILADELPHIA! She even brought her crown and sash! Alysa was crowned Miss Philadelphia on March 23rd, 2019. She has since made close to (maybe more than) 100 appearances throughout the city and beyond as a Philadelphia ambassador to schools, events, speaking engagements, and recently as the host of the afternoon Mummers Fancy Brigades ‘Show of Shows’ at the Convention Center on New Year’s Day. The title of Miss Philadelphia awards upwards of $130,000 in prizes, including a full scholarship to Cabrini University! Even more valuable to Alysa is her platform, and advocating for mental health awareness and battling the opioid epidemic. She speaks about the subject with conviction, and especially compassion.
