Philadelphia Orchestra Plans Eagles Super Bowl Victory Concert at Mann Center
The Philadelphia Orchestra will bring music and football together this July at the Mann Center with an NFL Films-backed show celebrating the Eagles’ Super Bowl win. Tickets range from $30 to $75.
Legendary Eagles announcer Merrill Reese will host “A Championship Season” at TD Pavilion in West Fairmount Park. The event combines live orchestra music with game footage shown on three giant screens.
Conductor Anthony Parnther will lead the orchestra through NFL Films’ famous music. Fans will get to watch Saquon Barkley’s amazing 2,504-yard rushing season and other big moments from their championship run.
NFL Films, based in Mount Laurel, opened up their music library for the event. Many of these powerful songs were written by Sam Spence during his 30-year career ending in 1990.
Reese, the voice of the Eagles for almost 50 years, will add his signature style to the show. He recently won the 2024 Pete Rozelle Award – the highest honor for NFL broadcasters.
“We have the Philadelphia Orchestra, the epitome of high culture, sophistication, art, celebrating a bunch of grown men beatin’ the crap out of each other,” said Jason Kelce to PhillyVoice during a similar 2018 concert where he played saxophone.
The Mann Center encourages fans to bring picnics and wear their Eagles gear. The event supports local arts programs and autism research through the Eagles Foundation.
Looking for early tickets? A 24-hour pre-sale kicks off March 26 at 10 a.m. Regular tickets go on sale March 29 at 10 a.m.through the Mann’s box office and Ticketmaster.
A portion of the proceeds from this performance will support the Mann Center’s free arts education initiatives and the Eagles Autism Foundation.
