Fans Will Be Able to Return to Stands in Philadelphia
Philadelphia fans can return to sporting events! Health Commissioner Dr. Thomas Farley announced Friday that fans will be allowed to attend both indoor and outdoor sporting events.
However, events will have limits. Indoor events will be capped at 500 people while outdoor events will have no more than 2,500. These numbers include players, staff, and employees.
PA Dept of Health says they are sticking with current limitations on indoor/outdoor events (ie, sports). Currently, that’s a max of 500 people for indoor stadiums and 2,500 for outdoor. Numbers include players/staff/etc.

Earlier this week Farley said it was likely fans could return and confirmed today that restrictions will be relaxed effective March 1.
