The Top 50 Happiest Songs
As promised, the Top 50 Happiest Songs list that we played this morning.
It’s Friday. That’s pretty happy news all by itself.
We’re also officially out of quarantine today in Pennsylvania. We move into the yellow phase of reopening today, and the stay at home order has been lifted, so that is DEFINITELY happy news. (Obviously keep wearing masks, social distancing and washing your hands, but YAY!)
It’s been a long quarantine though, and we decided to play this list of happy songs all morning long. The list was put together in the UK, by Greatest Hits Radio with adults aged 30 to 55 as survey respondents.
Ranking number one, as THE happiest song was ELO’s Mr. Blue Sky. When asked about it, according to (ETCanada.com) ELO’s Jeff Lynne said, ““Thank you for voting for my song ‘Mr Blue Sky’ as the song that makes you the happiest,” and “I’m really chuffed about it, it’s great. What a great thing. Thank you so much.”
