Today is National Candy Corn Day.
Yay or nay? Kristen's on team nay, for sure. Matt is team yay. Whatever side you're on, here are some things we've learned about this (gross) candy.
1.) It's been around since the 1800's. It was originally meant to look like chicken feed.
2.) 9 BILLION pieces of candy corn are produced each year.
3.) We're to blame. Invented in PHILADELPHIA by George Renninger at Wunderle Candy Company, based in Philly.
