Seger Postpones Remaining “Runaway Train” Tour Dates
Unfortunate news for Bob Seger fans today as his remaining U.S. tour dates with the Silver Bullet Band have been postponed.
Per Seger’s official website, the remaining “Runaway Train” tour dates have been postponed due to “doctor’s orders to attend to an urgent medical issue concerning his vertebrae. No further details are available at this time.”
Seger, himself, issued his own statement saying, “I’m so disappointed to have to suspend the tour as the band was on a great roll. It’s a privilege to play for our amazing fans. Hoping to be back on the road very soon.”
Per Gary Graff, Seger’s new album, I Knew You When, is still slated for release on Nov. 17 — the day the tour was to have ended in Chicago.
Before this announcement, Seger was forced to postpone his September 30 show in Columbus.
Rescheduled show dates have yet to be announced, but tickets for original show dates will be honored on the new, pending dates.
