First, Marilyn Russell catches up with her pals Preston Elliot and Steve Morrison from BEN-FM’s sister station WMMR about their incredible Campout For Hunger – now in its 18th year. The Campout for Hunger will be returning to XFINITY Live! on Monday, November 30 thru Friday, December 4 collecting non-perishable food items for Philabundance. The Campout is a ton of fun to attend, with a live broadcast of the Preston and Steve show each morning, plus musicians and celebrities stopping by all week long. Then, Kristen has team founder and coach Alan Ostrow by the BEN studio, along with two of Wissahickon High School’s Robotics Team members Dariya Roberts and Jessica Edelson to talk about their 16th Annual Ramp Riot Robotics Competition – Saturday, November 14th from 8am-5pm. The event is held in the Wissahickon High School gymnasium in Ambler, PA and attracts upwards of 2,500 spectators annually with 36 robotics teams competing.
