You probably recognize Matthew Schuler as the incredible singer from Season 5 of The Voice, and especially by his rendition of Leonard Cohen’s ‘Hallelujah,” – but did you know that this incredible young talent is from Bucks County, Pennsylvania? Schuler grew up in Yardley, Pennsylvania and sang in a church community with his parents, who are both pastors.  In 2013 he auditioned for The Voice and got a 4-chair turn on the show by the coaches, ultimately placing 6th. Listen as Marilyn catches up with Schuler who is currently recording his next music project, but also trying his hand at acting – cast in the movie ‘I’m Not Ashamed‘. In theaters now!
