Bon Jovi Appears on Surprising Billboard Chart for the First Time
In a surprising move, Bon Jovi has made their way onto Billboard‘s new Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart. Their unexpected team-up with Pitbull, “Now or Never,” jumped to No. 11.
This fresh spin on their 2000 smash “It’s My Life” blends pulsing dance beats with Mr. 305’s trademark rap flow. The song appears alongside 19 other tracks on Billboard‘s latest chart tracking dance-pop hits across the country.
“Never did I think Pitbull and Bon Jovi would team up, but they did, and it is amazing!” wrote one fan on YouTube.
The impact goes beyond just chart numbers. At the 25th Latin Grammy Awards, both artists rocked the stage, showcasing a friendship that began when they met at the 2017 Songwriters Hall of Fame ceremony.
Mr. 305’s opening verses kick off with hope: “The world’s always comin’ to an end / Don’t let it scare you out of livin’ / Look at me, mama, against all odds, your little baby boy did it.”
The song sits on the chart alongside heavy hitters like Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Katy Perry, and Kesha. Fans can spot moments from their Jones Beach Theater performance from September in the music video.
