New Philly Rocky Store Now Open
There’s a new Philly Rocky store. How on brand. It’s in a pretty perfect spot too. We know where the tourists are in Philly. Independence Mall OR running the “Rocky steps” at any given time, on any given day. (If we’re honest, locals do it too).
And by “Rocky steps” we of course mean the steps in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. A statue of Sylvester Stallone’s famous Rocky Balboa character right out front too. Now, Philly has a new Rocky store for those who opt to get a photo with the iconic Rocky statue and want to pick up their Philly t-shirts and tchotchkes while they’re out there.
The Independence Visitor Center at 5th and Market offers anything you could want to pick up while traveling to Philly. Pretzel magnets, Ben Franklin writing quills, and yes… Rocky stuff. Countless tourists visit and spend money in the shop, so why not extend that shop to the other giant Philly tourist hotspot? They did.
