Below are some of the great Pi Day deals you can find today for Pi Day.

Why Pi Day? Today is March 14th. The beginning numbers of the mathmatical constant pi – or π. The ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. It comes out to approximately 3.14159….. (lots of numbers after that too).  π appears all over the place across mathematics and physics…. or so they tell me. For me, it’s a day to bake and eat pies, whether they’re sweet, savory, or of the pizza variety.

Definitely a day to celebrate science too. It’s Albert Einstein’s birthday. Albert Einstein was born March 14th, 1879. Bizarrely, another great mind passed away on this day too. Steven Hawking died on March 14th, 2018.

Lots of science related organizations are celebrating Pi Day today, including NASA, The Nobel Prize organization, and even Sesame Street. On Pi Day, even Cookie Monster switches it up. There’s a great list of different pie recipes to try too, from the Washington Post today. Find it HERE. (I think the Chicken Pot Pie made with Phyllo Dough is the way to go.)

Check out the best Pi Day deals for today, March 14th below. Then be sure to celebrate! At the very least, get yourself some pizza.
