The return of Old City Eats kicks off with the Old City Eats Block Party on Thursday, June 1st and will continue to run every Thursday through August 31.
Every week this summer look for discounted small plates, cocktails, and cold beers at over 20 restaurants, bars, and eateries between 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
The Old City Eats Block Party will feature nearly a dozen participants including include Amada, Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, Khyber Pass Pub, Kick Axe Throwing, Nick’s Bar & Grille, The Olde Bar, The Plough & the Stars, Sassafras, plus THREE new Block Party participants: Las Bugambilias, Royal Boucherie, and Vista Peru.
Stroll 2nd Street and enjoy live music as Old City showcases the wide variety of styles and flavors while highlighting some of the neighborhood’s best food and drinks! Enjoy live jazz at Sassafras Bar, and DJ B3bo and salsa dancers at Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar!
Old City Eats is designed to highlight the best of Old City’s culinary scene all summer long featuring food, cocktails, and an atmosphere that will appeal to every taste.
New this year, Old City performing arts venues will offer discounts on tickets on select Thursday evenings through the summer including Arden Theatre Company, Christ Church Neighborhood House, and Philadelphia Film Society.
