Ah, the first day of Fall, gets me in the Christmas spirit… wait what? I am someone who watches Hallmark Christmas movies year round so I am ecstatic to hear this news. If you didn’t know I also have a podcast that covers all things Hallmark movies called The Heart of Podcasts which you can listen to here or wherever you listen to your podcasts!
Hallmarkies, it’s our time! Hallmark has released the air dates for the 40 new films we will see this winter season across Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
Not going to lie, it will be pretty weird to not see Candance Cameron Bure in a Hallmark movie this year as she signed an exclusive deal with GAC, but I am looking forward to all the new movies and truly getting into the Christmas spirit.
Although we won’t see Bure, we will see other Hallmark vets like Lacey Chabert, Alison Sweeney, Jodie Sweetin, Will Kemp, and Kristoffer Polaha, to name just a few.
So when can we expect these new films to premiere? Starting October 21 the countdown to Christmas begins. This year we will see the usual suspects, stories that center around royals, magical fantasy flicks, and movies that celebrate Hanukkah and Kwanza.
I am probably most excited for three of my Hallmark favorites in ONE movie! Tyler Hynes (heartthrob), Andrew Walker, and Paul Campbell will be playing brothers in Three Wise Men and a Baby and I am hoping it does not disappoint. The description from Hallmark states “Three brothers get the surprise of their lives when they are forced to work together to care for a baby over the holidays…”. That will be a fun one to watch!
Jaicy Elliot, who was a delight to watch in Romance in Style is starring in a Christmas movie this year called My Southern Family Christmas and I am excited to see her in another role!
Country artist Tenille Townes will make her Hallmark debut in Time For Him To Come Home For Christmas and Scotty McCreery’s “Five More Minutes” was the inspiration for the 2nd story, Five More Minutes: Moments Like These, starring Ashley Williams and Lucas Bryant.
Let’s take a look at all 40 new movies coming to Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries:
