Hallmark Channel Announces First-Ever Christmas Cruise With Favorite Stars On Board

Christmas in July is in full effect on The Hallmark Channel and this news has sent fans into a frenzy! Hallmark Channel announces the first-ever Christmas cruise with their favorite stars on board.

“We hear time and time again that people want to immerse themselves in the world of Hallmark Channel Christmas movies and this venture is sure to bring our brand to life in a new, captivating way,” Natalie Vandergast, Hallmark Media’s Vice President of Consumer Products, says in a press release for the cruise.

If you follow me or listen to my show you know I am obsessed with Hallmark Movies. Not only obsessed, but I have written a few treatments for around 7 movies. Title, characters, stories, etc. I understand almost every plot is the same, but a world where everyone is happy and in love is a world for me. Ha!

Let's not forget the rumors of a Hallmark movie being filmed in Longport - near Ocean City - earlier this year! The Mayor of Longport spoke at length about what has been going on regarding the filming. The crazy part is that a friend of mine, Anjelica, actually wrote a post on her Instagram on 12/20/20 with basically the concept of the movie! She was shocked they were at the record store in Ocean City.

It’s always fun when a movie or television show is filmed in and around Philly. We are fortunate for M. Night Shyamalan who filmed the majority of his projects in and around Philadelphia. Let’s not forget the Adam Sandler Netflix movie Hustle that came out last year. It was such a good movie, definitely watch it if you haven’t. It showed the heart and love of Philly and its sports teams so well.

Christmas in July is officially taken over the Hallmark Channel and with the announce of the first ever Christmas cruise, Hallmark fans are really in the holiday spirit.

Passengers can partake in all manner of seasonal festivities, like Christmas cookie decorating, ugly sweater contests, Hallmark Channel wine tastings, and Christmas “carol-oke.” But the highlight for many will no doubt be getting a chance to meet their favorite actors from Hallmark holiday movies. They haven't announced which Hallmark stars will be on board, so hopefully soon.

Created in partnership with Sixthman, the Hallmark Channel Christmas Cruise (sailing November 5-9, 2024) will allow the network's many devoted fans to experience the magical world of its beloved holiday movies in real life. The cruise will be hosted on the Norwegian Gem, which will be transformed into a winter wonderland for a voyage from Miami to Nassau, Bahamas.

Hallmark released a special video on their Instagram to get everyone excited. They didn't say which Hallmark stars will be there, but I have a feeling majority of them will lend their time. They know how passionate the Hallmark fanbase is.

Fans can sign up for the cruise’s pre-sale starting today until July 19, after which they will receive a booking appointment for a chance to reserve their cabin on board. Booking officially opens to the general public on July 21 at 2 p.m. ET.
