OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES

These rules apply to the WBEN-FM Could Send You To The Florida Keys On Air Trip Giveaway Contest (“Contest”) conducted by Beasley Media Group, LLC d/b/a WBEN-FM (“Station”). In addition, the General Contest Rules posted at 957benfm.com apply to this Contest. If there is a conflict between the General Contest Rules and the Rules for this Contest, the Rules for this Contest shall control.

BEN-FM Could Send You to The Florida Keys!

1. HOW TO ENTER

a. The Contest will begin on Monday, November 18, 2024 and end on Friday, December 20, 2024.

b. To enter, listen to the Station each weekday beginning Monday, November 18, 2024 and end on Friday, December 20, 2024 at approximately 8:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) and 4:00pm ET for the announcement of a unique Contest keyword (“Keyword”). Each announcement will have a unique Keyword. Once an entrant hears the Keyword, entrant may enter via the following method:

c. Visit 957benfm.com and follow the links and instructions to enter the Contest and complete and submit the online entry form including the Short Code and Keyword. Online entrants are subject to all notices posted online including but not limited to the Station's Privacy Policy. Entries submitted may not be acknowledged or returned. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by the Contest administrator.

d. Only one (1) per person per Keyword is permitted, regardless of method of entry. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same telephone number or email address. The deadline to enter each Keyword is thirty (30) minutes after the Keyword is announced (i.e. 8:30am and 4:30pm ET). Any online entries received after the entry deadline or with the incorrect Keyword will be disqualified.

e. There will be up to a total of five (5) Grand Prize winners selected in the Contest.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. This Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 25 years of age or older as of the date of entry into the Contest, who are legal US residents and reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware, except where prohibited by law. Winners must possess a valid, government-issued ID and show proof of residency to verify eligibility.

3. PRIZES

a. Up to five (5) Prizes will be awarded. The prize consists of the following:

The Approximate Retail Value (ARV) of all each package is $1,970. The total value of all prizes is $9,850.

Travel may be taken from the time that no travel restrictions, stay at home orders, quarantine orders, shelter in place orders, “safer at home” orders, or similar orders or recommendations are in effect at either the winner’s place of origin or destination and through January 30, 2026. Blackout dates may apply. Redemption instructions will accompany all certificates. The minimum age to book all elements of this prize package is 25.

Prizes are non-transferable, cannot be sold or gifted, may not be redeemed for cash, and will not be replaced if lost or stolen. Extensions to expiration dates will not be granted. Prize packages do not include travel to the departure airport or to the hotel (except as specifically included), meals (except as specifically included), incidentals, tips, telephone calls, airline baggage fees, or any other personal expenses incurred during the winner’s stay. Airline and schedule are at the sole discretion of VISIT FLORIDA. Non-stop service may not be offered. The prize winner must be one of the passengers booked in the travel party. The winner and guest(s) must have all necessary photo identification and/or travel documents required for travel.

Actual value may vary and any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Certain travel restrictions may apply. All other costs not specifically stated herein, including but not limited to those of, taxes, meals, tips and additional ground transportation, baggage fees, hotel room service, laundry service, alcoholic beverages, merchandise, souvenirs, and local and long-distance telephone calls are the responsibility of the winner. Selection of airline, hotel, and airline seat location at sole discretion of Station and/or prize provider. Airline regulations apply. The winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining all required travel documents, including, without limitation, passports for international travel. If applicable, the winner may be required to present a valid credit card upon hotel check in to cover any incidental expenses incurred during the winner’s stay. Winner and guest must abide by all airline, hotel, and venue policies. The winner and guest must sign all required releases prior to booking of any travel. If winner is unwilling or unable to travel on the dates specified, the prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to another winner at Station’s sole discretion. All travel is subject to availability and restrictions. If a prize-related event or travel is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, including for weather, or for any reason beyond the control of the Station and prize provider, their sole responsibility to the winner will be to award the remaining available elements of the prize(s) and no substitution or compensation will be provided for the unawarded elements of the prize(s). No refund or compensation will be made in the event of the cancellation or delay of any flight. If winner chooses to take the trip without a guest, s/he will be awarded the prize elements for one person only, and the remainder of the prize will be forfeited without compensation. Winner understands that there are inherent risks involved in travel and that these risks may be present before, during and after the trip. In addition, winner and guest(s) should be aware of and comply with government guidelines regarding travel restrictions and mandatory quarantines before, during and after the trip. Winner will be issued a 1099 for 2024, regardless of when the winner redeemed the prize trip.

b. Prizes or prize certificates must be claimed at the office of the Station located at One Bala Plaza, Suite 401, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, Monday-Friday, during regular business hours. Prize or prize certificate must be claimed within thirty (30) days of winning. Failure to claim Prize by the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize. It is the winner’s sole responsibility to claim the Prize or prize certificate within the timeline provided in these Official Rules.

4. SELECTION OF WINNERS

a. Up to five (5) total Grand Prize winners will be selected as follows:

Up to one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected at approximately 8:30am ET on Monday, November 25th, 2024, Monday, December 2nd, 2024, Monday, December 9th, 2024, Monday, December 16th, 2024, and Monday, December 23rd, 2024 in a Station-conducted random drawing from all combined eligible online entries received within the previous week. If the initially-selected Grand Prize winner does not answer the notification phone call on the first attempt, potential Grand Prize winner will be disqualified, and the Station will randomly select an alternate Grand Prize winner from all remaining entries received.

Non-selected entries will not automatically rollover into any subsequent random drawings, if any.

b. Odds of winning depend on the number of online entries received for each random drawing.

c. Entrants must listen to the Station for the Contest Keywords, but need not be present to win.

d. Grand Prize winner must confirm acceptance of prize by 8:30am ET on the day of winning or risk disqualification and selection of an alternate Grand Prize winner (time permitting) in a random drawing of all remaining online entries received during the previous week.

e. Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final.

5. CONDITIONS

a. The Station reserves the right to end any contest or amend these rules upon announcement on air and by publication at 957benfm.com.

b. For website contests: By use of the Station’s website and by entering this Contest, entrants agree to the Station’s Terms of Service Agreement and to the use of Personal Information as stated in the Privacy Policy located at 957benfm.com.

c. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of the Station, One Bala Plaza, Suite 401, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004, or by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the Station.

b. To enter, listen to the Station each weekday beginning Monday, November 27, 2023 and ending on Friday, December 8, 2023 at approximately 8:00am Eastern Time (“ET”) and 4:00pm ET for the announcement of a unique Contest keyword (“Keyword”). Each announcement will have a unique Keyword. Once an entrant hears the Keyword, entrant may enter via one (1) of the following methods:

Text message and any mobile device entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the mobile account submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the text or mobile telephone number by a telecommunications provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning such numbers. By initiating a text message to the Station in this contest, you also expressly consent to the receipt of a reply message confirming your entry and notification via text if you are selected to be a winner.

Her classic albums include By The Way, I Forgive You and In These Silent Days, as well as her album as a member of the supergroup the Highwomen.

The "Through the Wire" rapper celebrates his birthday on June 8. Ye was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and raised in Chicago, Illinois. Starting his professional music career as a producer at first, it wasn't until 2004 that the rapper released his debut studio album, The College Dropout, which features tracks like "All Falls Down," "Jesus Walks," Slow Jamz," and "Breathe In Breathe Out." He's since become a bit more controversial of a figure. 

On June 17th, Kendrick celebrates his birthday. The "Not Like Us" rapper was born and raised in Compton, California, in 1987. Often regarded as one of the greatest rappers of all time, he is the only musician outside of the classical and jazz genres to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music. His classic albums include good kid, m.A.A.d. city, To Pimp A Butterfly and DAMN.

The "God's Country" singer and television personality celebrates his birthday on June 18. Back in 2001, Shelton made his debut with the single "Austin" from his first album, Blake Shelton. Since then, the singer-songwriter has released eleven studio albums consistently every few years.

The original Beatles member celebrates his birthday on June 18th as well. Born in England, McCartney taught himself how to play piano, guitar, and songwriting as a teenager. After the Beatles disbanded in 1970 after ten years of mainstream success, McCartney went on to pursue a successful solo career, and also fronted the band Wings in the 1970s. All of the Beatles albums are classics; his best post-Beatles albums include McCartney, Wings' Band On The Run, McCartney II and Flowers In The Dirt.

The Deftones frontman celebrates his birthday on June 20th. Born Camillo "Chino" Wong Moreno in Sacramento, California, the singer-songwriter founded Deftones in 1988 with drummer Abe Cunningham and lead guitarist Stephen Carpenter. The group released their first album, Adrenaline, in 1995 and have went on to release nine more studio albums.Their classic albums include Around the Fur and White Pony.

The "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" singer celebrates her birthday on June 22. Lauper was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1953, and at age 12, she began writing songs and playing an acoustic guitar given to her by her older sister, Eileen. With a music career spanning over forty years, Lauper first began in a band called Blue Angel before going solo. You can learn more about Lauper by checking out her documentary, Let The Canary Sing.

The powerhouse singer celebrates her birthday on June 26th. Grande began her career at 15 years old when she appeared in 2008's Broadway musical 13. She rose to prominence as an actress at first for her starring roles in Nickelodeon series Victorious (2010–2013) and its spin-off, Sam & Cat (2013–2014).

The "You Should Be Here" singer celebrates his birthday on June 30. Swindell was born and raised in Georgia, then moved to Nashville, Tennessee after college to pursue a professional music career. In 2014, the singer-songwriter released his debut self-titled album. Since then, he's released three more studio albums.
