  • Please Touch Museum

    The Please Touch Museum has been around since 1976 and is one of the top activities for kids in Philadelphia. The museum includes two full floors of interactive exhibit zones. On First Wednesdays, the museum charges just $2 admission from 4 to 7 p.m. Purchasing your tickets in advance is recommended and the museum tends to be busier on rainy days.   • Philadelphia Zoo

    The Philadelphia Zoo is home to about 1,300 animals and features exhibits such as, Big Cat Falls, the McNeil Avian Center, the PECO Primate Reserve and KidZooU. The Philadelphia Zoo is open year round and has several parking areas, as well as a parking garage. Tickets can be purchased online. The zoo also offers membership for those interested.

  • Franklin Square

    Franklin Square is one of William Penn’s five original squares and is full of activities for kids in Philadelphia. Families can enjoy a round of mini golf, play in the park, visit the carousel, and even grab a bite to eat. Franklin Square also hosts events throughout the year!

  • Adventure Aquarium

    Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ is home to 8,500 animals. Kids and families can meet penguins, feed stingrays, and visit the touch tanks. There are also exhibits featuring sea turtles, stingrays, fish, and sharks. Adventure Aquarium also features daily shows with on staff experts.

  • Franklin Institute 

    The Franklin Institute is full of kid friendly exhibits that are both educational and fun. Walk through the Giant Heart and Your Brain, learn about Newtown’s Laws of Motion in Sir Isaac’s Loft, discover the wonder’s of outer space, and so much more! The Franklin Institute also features an IMAX Theater and the Fels Planetarium. The museum also hosts special exhibits running for a limited time.

  • Sesame Place

    Hang out with all your favorites from Sesame Street at Sesame Place. This family friendly theme park features rides, interactive activities, parades, shows, fireworks, and even a water park. Tickets can be purchased in advance online or at the gate when you arrive. Sesame Place also offers season passes.

  • Dilworth Park

    Dilworth Park has fun for the whole family. Ice skating in the winter, movies all year round, fountains, and a cafe to grab a snack. Dilworth park also holds fitness classes and musical performances.

  • Morris Arboretum

  • Philadelphia Museum of Art 

    The Philadelphia Museum of Art offers family specific tours and art carts in certain galleries for kids to make their own art or play games. The Philadelphia Museum of Art also hosts stroller tours and Family Festivals.

  • Eastern State Penitentiary 

    A Tour of Eastern State Penitentiary is an educational tour that’s better suited for older kids. The nearly 200 year old prison is open for tours and features a scavenger hunt for kids while learning about the history of the prison.

  • Treetop Quest Philly

    Treetop Quest is Philly’s first aerial adventure park featuring zip lines and obstacle courses from tree to tree. You can enjoy Treetop Quest for 2 1/2 hours and explore 60 different courses all varying in levels.
