Gottahavawawa? Yep. It appears so. I was looking for an image of a WAWA in my phone. I found an entire album. A bit of a fan, and it’s a bit of a family affair.

We never had WAWAs as I was growing up in Exeter, PA (Berks County). We would visit my Mom Mom’s house in South Jersey that had one walking distance from her house. It was the best, being able to scrounge up a dollar and walk to get ice cream and candy on our own. Fast forward to now, and there’s not only a WAWA in Exeter, but  more than one nearby. I also moved to Philly 20 years ago, so it’s more of a daily coffee stop than a novelty these days. The love remains.

I could go on and on. Their coffee is the best. The drinks. The hoagies. I have a dream of one day hosting a kiosk competition at a WAWA. Everyone entering their order is secretly competing with the person next to them to get their order in first. Why not make it a sport? Hand all participants the same identical order. Have them maneuver the WAWA kiosk with their practiced skills, and the first correct order receipt to pop up wins. Let’s make it happen.

Anyway. Here’s a gallery of my many WAWA related photos from my phone. I’m sure there are more where they came from.

p.s.. Let’s start a petition to have WAWA bring back the dirt cups. Remember those? Pudding and oreo and whipped cream with a gummy worm? We can do this. Gottahavawawa… dirt cup.
