Take an important step to support children and adults living with disabilities by joining the UCP 5K Corporate Run/Walk on Thursday, April 22, 2010.
The dollars we raise will make a difference in the lives of families who depend upon UCP. Together we can fulfill a shared vision to create a world where people with disabilities participate fully in their communities and live their lives without limits.
We expect over 1,200 runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes of all levels to participate. The five kilometer (3.1 mile) course is USA Track & Field certified. It starts and ends in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and runs along Martin Luther King Drive.
Don’t miss UCP’s 5K After-Party: The fun doesn’t stop at the finish line with an After-Party just a few blocks away at Jack’s Firehouse on Fairmount Avenue. The After-Party is open to everyone–racers, fundraisers, volunteers, and spectators. Contact information provided below for the purchase of tickets for individuals not registering for the race.
