Turner Fest… beyond a “beef and beer”

Turner Fest…beyond a “beef and beer”…will be held on September 26th from 6pm – 11pm at the Ellis Preserve Conference Center located at 3805 West Chester Pike in Newtown Square, PA. Access to Ellis Preserve is provided on Route 252 and West Chester Pike. Tickets can be purchased for $25 in advance or $30 at the door. Fourteen years ago, the lives of, local Newtown Square residents, Sheila and Jeff Turner were turned upside down when Jeff was diagnosed with Brain Cancer. Despite their own hardships, the Turner family has continued to organize events, raise awareness, funds and support for various foundations. On August 21st 2009, Jeff underwent his latest surgery to remove a large tumor in the back of his brain. It will be a hard road ahead for not only Sheila and Jeff, but also their children. Join them for a wonderful night of music, food, drinks, raffles, door prizes and silent auction items!
