The National Liberty Museum will host its 25th Anniversary Liberty Gala, an evening dedicated to celebrating liberty, leadership, and courage, on Thursday, October 10 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.
Guests will enjoy a curated culinary experience, including a cocktail reception, an elegant seated dinner, and a dessert reception featuring top chefs from the city and nation. The menu will spotlight dishes from chefs Greg Vernick of Vernick Restaurants, Nicholas Elmi of Lark, Chris Kearse of Forsythia, Michael Vincent Ferreri of Irwin’s, Cristina Martinez of South Philly Barbacoa, and Amanda Shulman and Alex Kemp of Her Place Supper Club, My Loup, and Amourette. This year, the museum will present its inaugural Flame Award to Nadine Strossen for her contributions to free speech as the first woman president of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU). Nadine will join Alaine Arnott, president of the National Liberty Museum, for a fireside chat during the program. The Flame Award honors an individual who exemplifies freedom of thought, civil discourse, and respect for all while tirelessly pursuing and enhancing personal and civil liberties for their community and beyond. Single tickets are $500, VIP tickets are $1,500, and sponsorship packages start at $5,000. |
